Steven graduated from University of British Columbia with a degree in pharmaceutical sciences in 1983 and went to work at Ormes Drugs in Prince Rupert after graduation. Steven moved to Revelstoke in 1984 and in 1987 he purchased Donaldson’s Drugs from Murt and Tak Moody. The store joined the Pharmasave franchise in spring of 1988.

He is a a long-time Rotary Club Member and is also a director on the Revelstoke District Health and the Revelstoke Community Foundations. Steven is married to Dorothy, also a pharmacist, and has two girls.
